Art Inspired Valentine's Day Gifts
The first international gift giving holiday is just around the corner - Valentine's Day. While there is no better gift than the gift of love on this day or any other day of the year, a thoughtful gift is the second most preferred option in our books. We love looking for hidden treasures and here we give you a compilation of art inspired Valentine's gifts for all your loved ones.
Adult Colouring Book – Gond Art (22.96€)
Adult colouring books are all the rage and rightfully so. They encourage us to switch off our screens and practice mindfulness. This colouring book is specially unique since the drawings in there are by Gond Artist – Venkat Raman Singh Shyam. The author of Finding my Way. We have featured him before in our articles here & here.
Give your loved ones a chance to lose themselves in the mesmerizing world of Chachan birds, the Katheli tree, snakes, animals, and plants created by Venkat Shyam.

This one is closer to our HQ. Did you know that we are based out of Maastricht, The Netherlands. Maastricht has been the proud host of TEFAF – The European Fine Art Fair since 1988. It is an annual art fair like no other. It isn’t uncommon to come across pieces from masters like Rembrandt and Renoir at this fair. It is the best open air museum where you are allowed to view never before seen masterpieces from private collections at very close quarters and if you are a true collector then indeed purchase such pieces as well. A TEFAF fair is also held in New York.

This is a gift that will keep on giving for a whole year. Tribal Art Magazine is an international quarterly journal dedicated to the arts of Africa, Oceania, Indonesia, and the Americas. Their annual subscription includes 4 issues of the magazine as well as online version of each issue along with all the newsletters. Your loved ones can keep up to date with important pieces and events in the Tribal Art World.
An Art inspired gift list will be incomplete without a piece of art itself. This piece called “Heron and the Fish” by Santosh Maravi, while melancholic in its messaging, is also a beautiful piece of work which would remind your loved ones to be conscious of their impact on this fragile planet of ours.
